Sudanese Conflict (Darfur)

Our organization has been deeply involved in the Sudanese Conflict in Darfur, working tirelessly to mediate between the Government of Sudan, Janjaweed militias, and various rebel groups. United Nations Conflict Resolution Committee (UN CRC) Member Involvement


Several members of the United Nations Conflict Resolution Committee (UN CRC) have played pivotal roles in the resolution of these conflicts. Lebanon War (2006)

In the aftermath of the Lebanon War in 2006, the UN CRC was actively engaged in supporting the implementation of Security Council Resolution 1701, which called for a cessation of hostilities, the deployment of Lebanese Armed Forces in southern Lebanon, and the disarmament of Hezbollah. The Committee has supported the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) in its efforts to monitor the ceasefire, prevent hostilities, and facilitate humanitarian assistance and reconstruction in the affected areas.

Gaza-Israel Conflicts

During the various flare-ups and military operations between Israel and Hamas in Gaza, the UN CRC has consistently called for the protection of civilians, the respect for international humanitarian law, and the immediate cessation of hostilities. The Committee has supported diplomatic initiatives to de-escalate tensions, broker ceasefires, and promote a durable solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. UN CRC members have also provided humanitarian assistance to alleviate the suffering of the civilian population affected by the conflict.

Syrian Civil War
